About the Guided Tour of the Ambassador's Residence:
The Danish Embassy was designed in 1979 by Fumihiko Maki, one of Japan's leading architects.
Danish lighting, furniture, and tableware are used in the interior, and artwork by Danish artists is also incorporated into the living space.
During the Sarugaku Festival, guided tours of the ambassador's residence will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy the architecture of the ambassador's residence and the Danish furniture, lighting, tableware, and artwork that are usually used in the official residence. This year, there will also be a demonstration of flower arrangement using Royal Copenhagen vases (demonstration on the 2nd only, exhibition only on the 3rd), and Danish jazz music will be played on Bang & Olufsen's high quality speakers.
