Danish Days in Daikanyama 2022
On Nov 5th and 6th, we will open our courtyard to the public. This year will be very special since a large number of Danish food companies will join what we call DANISH DAYS IN DAIKANYAMA. So, get your taste buds ready for some organic and sustainable food delights from Denmark!
Come experience a taste of Denmark during Sarugaku Matsuri!
The embassy courtyard will be transformed into a Danish food showcase for all to enjoy and will be open on Saturday November 5th and Sunday November 6th (both days 11:00-18:00). The participating companies will sample their products and you will have a chance to try some very unique products. There will be seafood, pig meat, poultry, bread and cheeses for all to enjoy. For the ones with a sweet tooth also ice pops, butter cookies, energy bars and Danish pastry for the ones and for drinks – beer, organic vodka, whisky, gin tonic and a very exclusive cherry wine from Denmark and don’t forget to try our classic Danish hot dog and even the speciality “grill medister” a.k.a. the “big bad boy”. A share of the hotdog sales will go to support Ukraine, so remember: the more you eat the more you support. Finally, we will also have a selection of high-quality outdoor products from Denmark. Access to the courtyard is free of charge, so come and be surprised and inspired by the great and sustainable food products from Denmark.
Visitors can also sign up for a guided tour in the Residence of the Ambassador* (*Pre-registration is needed. Please see below section for details.) In the tour, you can experience the Danish furniture, tableware and art pieces in the Ambassador’s Residence. Additionally, on this special occasion of having Stauning Whisky from Denmark, you can also experience Whisky Chair, designed by Finn Juhl.
In the courtyard, you can also experience Danish outdoor lifestyle with tents, tarps and camping gears made by Nordisk. You can also join the workshop to make key rings utilizing used tent.
It will be a fun event where you can enjoy Danish food, indoor and outdoor lifestyle! We all look forward to seeing you at the event!

You can sign up for the tour at the entrance gate to the Embassy courtyard on each day between 10:30～11:00 for time slots ①&②、between 13:00～13:30 for time slots ③&④. The number is limited. First come, first served!
