Japan-Denmark FOOD Webinar on Dec. 5th 2023 (Tue) from 16:30 (JPN)/8:30 (DK)

« The Sustainable Farming for the Future »

~ Learn from cases in Denmark and Japan~

With a growing world population and increasing demand for 'more and better food', food system transformation to produce safe, healthy and sustainable food is one of the most important challenges in the food sector. And sustainable agriculture is one of the solutions to producing enough food with minimal environmental impact.

Denmark has set itself the goal of making domestic food production completely climate-neutral by 2050. Denmark's strengths lie in its collaborative efforts across the entire food value chain, innovative technological capabilities and sustainable solutions. These are due to the high level of environmental awareness among the population and the low cost of renewable energy in the country.

This webinar will feature speakers from Danish organisations and companies as well as Japanese research institutes and companies that have been developing new knowledge and concrete solutions for sustainable food production for many years.

We hope that this webinar will provide an opportunity to expand the possibilities for cooperation between Japan and Denmark.
