Payment information

Visa and residence permit applications are paid online in accordance with the application guides found elsewhere on this website.

Other types of services (for example passports, certificates or driver's licenses) are paid by bank transfer to a bank account in Denmark, which belongs to the Danish Ministry of Foreign, or to the Embassy's local bank account in MUFG.

(Please note, Japanese banks treat all payments to an Embassy bank account as international transactions. Check with your own bank regarding the requirements for payment to the Embassy's account).

Fee rates for passports and other services are listed on the Embassy's Danish language fee page. Fee information is provided in English upon email request to [email protected].

The bank transfer must be made in advance before the appointment date. A receipt for the bank transfer must be presented on the day of application at the Embassy. No other forms of payment to the Embassy are accepted, including cash, checks, credit cards and mobile pay.
